Company Description HTS Compliance is dedicated to Compliance Engineering and Maintenance of companies assets linking through to ongoing inspection and testing regimes for Electrical and Mechanical systems installed in potentially explosive environments. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as an Electrical / EC&I Technician at HTS Compliance located in Runcorn. As an Electrical / EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and inspection of Electrical and Mechanical systems in potentially explosive environments. Qualifications Electrical Engineering or relevant technical degree/certification Experience in maintenance and testing of Electrical and Mechanical systems Knowledge of compliance engineering and regulations Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities NVQ Level 3 - Electrical Installation 18 th Edition Wiring Regulations C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing Relevant Hazardous Area Installation & Inspection Qualifications (COMPEX) are essential The Technician will be responsible for the ongoing support for inspection and maintenance activities on multiple customer sites undertaking regulatory inspections for equipment located within explosive atmospheres (ATEX) to IEC 60079 and Electrical inspection and testing for fixed wire testing, switchgear and MCC with associated equipment and motors. Undertake remedial works and small projects and provide breakdown and callout support usually within the standard working week but some “out of hours” will be required.
