An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretary to join the Paediatric Diabetes Department. This is a permanent, part time position working 30 hours per week.
The successful applicant will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Paediatric Diabetes Service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual. The successful candidate would need to have a good telephone manner, experience of audiotyping and use of IT systems.
The post-holder will work closely with all members of staff in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. This will require the utilisation of good secretarial, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of word-processing and other computerised systems. All secretaries appointed to the Paediatric service have a shared responsibility to service the needs of the whole department as required.
