Business Development Manager – Industrial Roofing Territory: Midlands Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) On-Target Earnings: £65,000 - £90,000 Benefits: Commission, bonuses, company car, pension, optional healthcare package The Role As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to grow sales of industrial and commercial roof refurbishment contracts within the Midlands region. This role emphasizes new business development, client acquisition, and the nurturing of key customer relationships. You will spend significant time attending meetings and conducting site surveys to onboard new clients while further developing existing accounts. Key Responsibilities: Lead Contact: Serve as the primary contact for new sales enquiries within the region. Product Expertise: Build a deep understanding of services and their applications. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure excellent client service, with training and joint sales visits provided. Territory Growth: Drive revenue growth in line with commercial targets. Consultative Sales: Use problem-solving skills to offer tailored solutions to client challenges. Report Writing: Prepare detailed survey reports and quotations. Relationship Building: Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers. Innovation Support: Contribute to the development of new services and innovations. Project Oversight: Ensure seamless delivery of services post-contract. Candidate Profile We are seeking a candidate with a proven record of success in solution selling. Experience in industrial roofing or technical product sales is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided. A background in direct sales to industry would be advantageous.
