Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced dietitian, to join the community team at Austen House, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. Austen House is a specialist Low Secure CAMHS unit on the edge of the New Forest close to Southampton. With only a handful of similar units in the country their our aim is provide specialist care for young people with complex mental health needs in the South of England.
Main duties of the job
If you are successful in your application to this post, you will be expected to manage and deliver on the responsibilities outlined below as well as those not included here, call today to discuss further:
You will support young people in a Low secure setting, where support is required for young people who have food and fluid refusal and may require Naso gastric tube feeding.
You will also support young people on medication which may increase appetite and therefore weight gain.
You will be required to provide advice and guidance to the Multi-Disciplinary Team and Medics.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
HCPC registered.
Nutrition and Dietetics degree or equivalent.
UK Driving License/Use of a car for work essential.
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
