Senior Client Manager
A Blue Moon baby is fast approaching within our team! Initially we are on the lookout for maternity cover for an experienced Client Services Manager, but for the right candidate, there’s space for a full-time role, as we continue on our exciting and ambitious growth journey.
Working closely with our clients’ in-house teams, you’ll be responsible for keeping relationships thriving across a variety of businesses and project types - linking with our creative teams and collaborators to ensure that projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and expectations are exceeded from briefing to completion.
You will be joining a really close and supportive team. As a business, we’re approaching our 5th birthday and entering a new financial year, where we’ll continue our fast growth as a fractional marketing partner - providing strategy, creative and marketing management services to organisations in a wide variety of sectors.
Is this role for you?
If you thrive on building relationships, whilst managing multiple projects with ease, and have a positive can-do attitude to helping businesses use communications to drive growth - then yes!
You’ll likely already have a strong background in an agency environment and/or in-house comms roles, where you’ve been working directly with clients and other stakeholders, and you will have had commercial responsibility for making sure marketing budgets are invested wisely to deliver campaigns, assets, toolkits, events or initiatives that build brands and deliver results.
If you have experience in the built environment / construction, technology and consumer good sectors this will be a great advantage, but not essential.

Salary (Negotiable - reflecting your level of expertise)
Starting: Ideally May/June 2025
Location: Sunderland/Newcastle/Homeworking (Hybrid working week)
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
* Understand client goals, challenges and industry trends to provide strategic guidance.
* Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction on all projects.
Project & Campaign Management
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing initiatives.
* Coordinate between internal teams (creative, strategy, digital, etc.) to ensure seamless execution.
* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring everything stays on track.
* Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to clients.
Strategic & Commercial Oversight
* Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through additional services.
* Work with internal teams to develop innovative marketing solutions to known business objectives and goals
* Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
* Act as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment.
* Provide clear briefs, feedback, and direction to creative and technical teams.
* Handle any issues or challenges that arise, finding proactive solutions.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
* Prepare client reports, highlighting key successes, learnings, and future opportunities.
* Stay up to date with industry trends to bring fresh ideas to clients.
