Position: Supply Teacher
Location: Northampton
Are you a passionate and adaptable person with experience educating or coaching secondary students?
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated supply teachers for schools across the NN1 and NN3 areas of Northampton. As a supply teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education in lessons during teacher absences. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of students, whilst gaining valuable classroom experience.
The role will require you to deliver lessons from a prepared plan already designed by the permanent class teacher, ensuring all students are engaged. The lessons will vary from different subjects and ages and have all types of skill sets so it is important that you’re able to adapt to these changes affectively to ensure understanding across the board in your lessons.
Requirements
Strong classroom management skills
Adaptability and flexibility to work amongst different skill levels and subjects
Good experience in teaching secondary education is ideal
Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent is ideal)
A child only enhanced DBS
Overseas police clearance (if applicable)
