### Description\n\n \n\n**About the role** \n \n\nResponsible for the efficient running of our Electrical Function within our\nSkegness resort, you’ll ensure that the highest standard of service is met\nconsistently, ensuring that we delight our guests and receive positive\nfeedback.\n\n \nLeading a team to not only deliver the best service to our customers but to\nmake sure the team are always engaged and carrying out best practice, you will\nsupport with day to day activities of the electrical team, including routine\nmaintenance, servicing and repairing of domestic, commercial and electrical\nequipment. You will manage project works with both team and subcontractors.\nYou will plan and operate the rota system including on call systems, and be\navailable for call outs if required. You should have a good knowledge in all\naspects of fault finding and installation works.
\n \n\nThis role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is very\nimportant. Occasional late work will be required and at least 1 weekend day\nper week will need to be covered. \n \n\nAs part of the Resorts Management team, it will be your responsibility to\nmanage both your internal team and external service providers to ensure full\ncompliance of all H polices are adhered to.
\n \n\nYou will also oversee all team activities within the department including\nrecruitment, performance, and team development. You should be a real advocate\nfor your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121s\nand PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s. \n \n\nAs with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need to\nenjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest\nexperience is always your number one priority.\n\n \n\n### About You\n\n \n\nWe are looking for an experienced __ electrical leader that can support the\nteam to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first in everything you\ndo.
You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled\nenvironment to deliver an excellence experience. \n \n\nYou should have previous experience in leading teams, with an ability to\nprioritise a demanding workload, work on your own initiative and a sound\nunderstanding of how to operate a PCMicrosoft suite. \n \nYou should be confident to direct and respond in any situation whilst\ndelivering consistent brand standards.
\n \n\nThe ability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods of high\ndemand is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and\nadapt quickly to changing requirements. \n \n\nWith strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team\nto deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day. \n \n**Youll need to have an 18th Edition electrical qualification, as well as a\nHVK license.**\n\n \n\n### General Duties & Key Accountabilites\n\n \n\n * Responsibility for managing the team during a shift on key tasks and objectives.
\n * Driving add on sales and promotions and supporting team to do the same. \n * Ensuring all stock proposition is available for guests. \n * Monitoring consistent delivery of a quality guest experience in line with brandvenue guidelines.
\n * Ensuring any guest feedback is captured. \n * Provides accurate rota’s 3 weeks in advance through SAM for all team within the venue and takes accountability for ensuring the accuracy of closing the system. \n * Monitors NPS and takes action where possible on guest feedback.
\n * Coach and develop the team to ensure departmental plans are met. \n * Be a champion of the Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours. \n * Ensure we always have a focus on RPRRT in the way we rota team.
\n * Build and maintain strong relationships across the resort, other resorts, and Butlins central support teams. \n * Responsibility, where required, for people support of the department, including all people tasks from onboarding through the employee life cycle. Employee life cycle refers to PDP’s, performance management, required training, and any formal HR process.
