What you’ll do
We are on the lookout for a proactive, creative and enthusiastic E-Learning Developer to join our Exeter office on a full time and permanent basis. This is a really exciting role to develop, produce and roll out e-learning courses and modules and contribute to providing an efficient and effective IT support service within the firm. Joining an established IT team, you will act as a point of contact for e-learning queries within the department. You will also work with the IT Lead Trainer in delivering in-person training across Ashfords Offices.
As a key member of the IT team, you will be liaising with various departments and individuals throughout the firm to establish training requirements and identify areas where additional training is needed and where the provided training can be improved. You will have the chance to review existing training courses to ascertain what can be moved to e-learning based as opposed to classroom based.
We are constantly looking at ways we can improve the training we provide as well as how it is delivered, so working with the Service Delivery Manager and IT Project and Governance Manager, you will ensure product training is produced and delivered to the highest standards. Through the provision of an effective training programme and induction, you will help reduce the number of support calls handled by the IT helpdesk.
Who you are
With a sound level of experience in e-learning and software packages, preferably in a legal or professional services setting, you will have a good eye for detail, an ability to manage your time as well as being able to work on your own as well as within a team. You need to be able to demonstrate an ability to respond to the needs of the business, acting professionally and ethically to protect the confidentiality of the Firm and its people.
As a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for building effective working relationships across all levels.
