Key responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the gas detection market.
* Collaborate with clients to deliver advanced, connected safety solutions.
* Analyze industry trends and market needs to stay ahead of the curve.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with team of connected services sales experts in the execution of robust, progressive, forward-thinking sales strategy that drives accelerated business performance and achieves all sales quotas and assigned goals
* Use data analysis to direct and prioritize sales effort.
* Implement appropriate sales strategies, processes, and action plans to optimize recurring revenues
* Work with assigned accounts to maximize sales effort and achieve key customer conversions
* Accountability based on KPIs that measure progress in alignment with organizational goals, and that are aggressive and challenging, setting expectations for excellence.
* Cooperate with sales management, customer success specialists and Inside Sales.
* Develop strong working relationships with end users and channel partners
* Develop strong working relationships with channel partners and representatives to monitor the implementation of our connected services strategies and programs.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key customers, including negotiating, closing, adopting, expanding, and renewing on opportunities.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership
* Support EMEA sales managers develop industry leading connected solution and subscription based recurring revenue sales competencies and skills, based on agreed rollout plan
* Execute on agreed Marketing plan
* Effectively communicate voice of customer (VOC) feedback into our new product and solutions development process and to other stakeholders
* Report success according to KPIs that measure progress
* Report trends/conditions, competitive activity, and sales opportunities
* Provide necessary reporting and forecasting of the business.
Experience required:
* 3-5 years sales or related business experience in related industry
* A tremendous passion to change the face of worker and worksite safety and business outcomes in a technology-powered world.
* Ability to contribute to performance of a winning sales team
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and successfully with colleagues across the company.
* Demonstrated ability to solve problems with innovative solutions and overcome customer objections.
* Ability to inspire and motivate customers and partners with vision and regular communication
* Demonstrated ability to be highly adaptive to change
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and the ability to work at high-speeds and driven by results.
* Understanding of solution selling techniques and selling cloud-based solutions.
* Ability to negotiate and close large, connected service solution opportunities with large and complex organizations.
* Proven ability to grasp technical product knowledge.
Experience preferred:
* Solid analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated data-driven mindset.
* Cloud-based solutions selling experience
* Experience selling and promoting IoT services to industrial customers
Education:
Bachelors degree in related field (e.g. engineering or business)
Travel: estimated 60%-70%
