Role Overview:
1. Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
2. Location: Enfield
3. Interview Date: Immediate
4. Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
5. Salary: £102 - £115 per day (Dependent on experience)
About You:
1. Has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated learning needs.
2. Is confident in supporting students with communication challenges, sensory needs, and behaviour management.
3. Can provide one-to-one and small group interventions to enhance learning and social development.
4. Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
5. Has a proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students in a specialist setting.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development within a structured ASD provision.
2. Implement tailored learning strategies, including visual aids, sensory techniques, and alternative communication methods.
3. Assist in managing behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
4. Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised support plans.
5. Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
