Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Finance Admin Assistant on behalf of our client based in Welwyn Garden City.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers calling in and for taking information for jobs etc, and then producing final invoices for works completed.
Key Requirements:
* Must have experience using Sage One accounting system.
* The ideal applicant will have a minimum of one year’s experience working as an accounts/finance assistant in a busy office.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
* IT proficient in MS Word and Excel.
* Confident communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative and work well to deadlines.
The Role:
* Dealing with all aspects of finance admin to include invoice preparation, inputting job information on customers' portals, using Sage One.
* Dealing with customer queries via email and on the phone.
* Payroll duties, handling basic bookkeeping admin and all general tasks as required.
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm – (some flexibility on times)
Salary: Negotiable up to £30,000 pa depending on experience plus benefits.
