We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Surveyor to join our survey team in Christchurch. In this role you will be responsible for providing information and spatial calculations to continuously support and enable our construction teams in the Canterbury region.
In addition to the above you will:
1. Complete design checks, set outs and verification of proposed works and data.
2. Assist and calibrate operation of machine control on milling, paving and other construction related machinery.
3. Measure built works and prepare as-built plans.
4. Review design data from clients and prepare data for construction set out.
5. Provide mentoring and training to team members.

We’re looking for someone with:
1. Minimum 3 years’ experience working in civil construction surveying.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction survey methodology.
3. Experience in survey set out and machine control.
4. A proactive approach towards Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority.
5. The ability to develop positive relationships with internal/external teams.
6. The ability and competence to work independently.
7. Experience using Trimble and AutoCAD software is preferable but not essential.
8. Experience in drone operation is also preferable but not essential.
