Job Overview
At Britvic, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Shopper Strategy Manager to drive our category vision and unlock growth opportunities across priority channels. This pivotal role will translate our soft drinks vision into actionable plans, leveraging shopper insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and impactful shopper solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate Britvic's soft drinks vision into actionable opportunities for priority channels, collaborating with teams across the organization.
* Lead the 6S Path To Purchase framework, ensuring effective tools, training, and customer engagement.
* Drive the execution of key category and shopper initiatives to maximize visibility and impact at the point of purchase.
* Collaborate with the Portfolio Shopper Marketing Manager to ensure shopper initiatives align with customer needs across priority channels.
* Partner with Category Strategy, Category Management, and Shopper teams to anticipate evolving needs and provide thought leadership.
* Develop tools and facilitate knowledge sharing to upskill teams and leverage a Sales Toolkit for bronze customers.
* Support customer immersions, bringing to life Britvic's category vision and gold standard initiatives.
* Lead insight flow into channel teams to influence Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
* Embed shopper insights into the business through close collaboration with the Shopper Insight Manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience required
* Relevant category management, category development, category strategy, channel development or other strategic experience, preferably in an FMCG business, with a track record of successfully driving category, brand and NPD growth.
* Expertise in developing strategic category development activities and working with teams to deliver them with customers, with the right balance of strategic thinking and execution.
* Analytical ability to turn strategic insights into execution.
* Strong story-telling (written and presentation skills) to engage and influence others to implement your recommendations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage a wide network of stakeholders (internal and external) and influence at the right level.
* Experience of working with multiple customers, possibly across different channels and in different category missions such as On The Go and Take Home.
* Experience working across different channels e.g. Grocery, Convenience, Foodservice, Licensed, Online.
* Creative judgement – acquired through previous shopper or consumer marketing involvement.
* Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
