What Are We Looking For?
DPS are looking to bring on board a HSEQ Administrator to join their site in Glenrothes on a permanent basis. You'll be required to provide administrative support to the existing HSEQ team, working within a fast-paced environment whilst ensuring best practice is followed throughout all tasks. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
1. Perform a wide range of administrative duties including filing, photocopying and maintaining Health & Safety personnel records.
2. Deal with sensitive and confidential information.
3. Assist in HSEQ meetings including documenting and distributing the agenda and minutes.
4. Complete and monitor the return of various HSEQ reports, assisting management to ensure all actions are completed on time and reminders issued for those outstanding.
5. Draft correspondence to include creating, revising, proof-reading and distributing various types of documents, presentations and spreadsheets.
6. Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly reports.
7. Assist in the investigation of issues related to HSEQ and implement corrective actions.
8. Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and other technical issues to allow prompt reporting and closure.
9. Manage change requests.
10. Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder's appropriate skill set.
What Do You Need?
1. Experience in a similar administrative role.
2. Experience of producing work within defined timescales.
3. Excellent customer service and organisation skills, with good attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Good knowledge of IT systems with an excellent knowledge and understanding of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.
6. A positive, flexible and pro-active approach to work.
7. A willingness and ability to learn new skills.
8. Full UK Driving Licence.
