Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Worcestershire based business (excellent commuting links via M5).
Our client is a Worcestershire based, specialist nationwide service provider and is recruiting now for a Bookkeeper to join their growing Accounts & Finance department. The Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper will be responsible for supporting with payroll, expenses & payment enquiries as well as monitoring purchase ledgers.
Key candidate background needed:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
2. Good working knowledge of SAGE accounts.
3. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
4. Strong PC skills, especially with Microsoft.
5. Very strong attention to detail, organisational and financial accuracy skills.
Position accountabilities:
1. Maintaining financial records.
2. Supporting the Finance Manager with accounting needs.
3. Managing employee expense claims (process and payment).
4. Settling finance accounts.
5. Sales and purchase ledger administration.
