Job summary The purpose of the Digital Officer is to support the implementation of Public Health Wales's digital communications strategy through the delivery of high quality digital communications. The post holder will support teams across the organisation to plan and produce high quality digital content that is in line with strategic objectives, tailored to specific audiences and optimised for specific digital channels including website, intranet, email and social media. Main duties of the job We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Communications Officer to join our Digital Communications team. Key Responsibilities Content Planning and Creation: Collaborate with teams to develop and produce engaging, high-quality digital content that meets the needs of diverse audiences and is aligned with our organisational goals. Digital Strategy Implementation: Work with stakeholders to implement digital communication strategies that enhance brand presence, audience engagement, and message clarity across all digital channels. Social Media Management: Manage and maintain the organisation's presence on various social media platforms, crafting tailored content for specific channels and audiences. Content Production: Create, edit, and manage content for a variety of platforms, including the organisation's website, intranet, email campaigns, and multiple social media platforms. Engagement Monitoring: Monitor social media channels, respond promptly to inquiries, and engage with followers to build community and maintain a positive online presence. Performance Analysis: Track and report on the performance of digital content and campaigns, using analytics tools to evaluate impact and inform future improvements. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest digital communication trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of digital engagement.
