The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences offers several undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare related degrees including the Master of Pharmacy, Master of Chemistry and accredited BSc Biomedical Sciences. The School offers a friendly and supportive learning environment with state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities. We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in in Public-Patient Engagement and Interprofessional Education on a 6-month fixed term contract to cover staff absence, who will contribute to the areas of experiential learning in the School, in particular for the Pharmacy degree. The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team and make a contribution to teaching, learning and assessment. The motivated and enthusiastic applicant will hold a BSc/MSc in an appropriate discipline and have experience of teaching in higher education. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching in the areas of communication and professionalism skills. A flexible approach to teaching and learning is therefore essential as is excellent communication skills, involvement in delivery and co-ordinating teaching and the ability to work in a team are essential criteria needed for this position.
