Job Description
* Processing and monitoring payments and expenditures.
* Maintaining vendor files.
* Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
* Serving as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
* Performing other accounting duties and supporting the Finance Department as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Accounts Payable Assistant' should have:
* A relevant degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on Excel.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* An understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency in numerical tasks.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
