Your responsibilities and tasks:

Join our team at DairyFlow and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at Scotland's leading milking equipment dealership! We are seeking an organised, motivated, and detail-oriented Store person to manage our stock and inventory processes while supporting the overall functionality of our store and warehouse.
1. Stock Control:
2. Maintain accurate stock control processes for incoming and outgoing parts.
3. Implement efficient van stock management strategies to minimise losses and facilitate the return of unused stock for resale.
4. Conduct regular stock audits and implement processes to prevent stock losses.
5. Initiate and manage daily, weekly, and monthly stock orders for essential parts and inventory optimization.
6. Warehouse Organisation:
7. Keep the warehouse and store areas clean, tidy, and well-organised.
8. Label and place incoming parts in their designated locations.
9. Customer & Supplier Interaction:
10. Assist customers directly in-store, answering questions and addressing their needs.
11. Handle incoming calls, respond to queries, and escalate as necessary.
12. Process warranty claims and returns efficiently.
13. Check invoices against purchase orders and confirm for payment.
14. System Management & Reporting:
15. Daily use of ERP systems, including creating supplier accounts and adding new parts.
16. Raise purchase orders for suppliers and generate monthly stock reports.
17. Revenue Growth:
18. Boost store revenue by expanding opportunities for post-purchase sales.
Your profile and qualifications:
Experience and Knowledge:
* Previous experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or a similar role is preferred.
* Familiarity with stock management processes is an advantage.
Skills:
* Strong organisational skills for efficient inventory management.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills for customer interactions, both in person and on the phone.
