About Us LANXESS UK is now recruiting a Productuib Support Coordinator to work at our Branston Site. At the Branston site, coloured pigments and liquid dispersions for the colouration of construction, coatings and plastics products are blended and packaged – mainly for sale to the British and Irish markets. Branston is part of the Inorganic Pigments business unit of LANXESS AG and one of their seven production sites for inorganic pigments worldwide. About the role The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that Branston manufacturing activities are compliant with local-, LANXESS- and global regulatory directives. The role is responsible for the continual review and update of plant manuals and SOPs - ensuring that operators are competent and validated as so against all plant documentation. Main Responsibilities: Continually generate and review manufacturing task risk assessments, working with the Operations Manager to review, update and participate in the implementation of general site risk assessments. Review and maintain plant manuals and SOPs with the Production Coordinator. Responsible for ensuring that plant operators are continually trained against updated plant manuals and SOPs. Coordinate with the HSEQ Manager to format and deliver any necessary training. Close liaison with HSEQ for the implementation and recording of safety improvements. Ensure that statutory plant inspections are reviewed and prepared according to the inspection schedule. Together with the HSEQ Manager, supply information for audits and compliance checks, and ensure that records are up-to-date in preparation for such. Review and maintain site certificates and maintain and generate all plant & site drawings, P&IDs etc. Responsible for Management of Change (MoC) processes in relation to plant operations. Ensure all MoC information is updated, recorded and signed-off by relevant stakeholders. Together with the Production Coordinator, investigate production-based customer complaints. Conduct regular Site Safety Walks, perform Fire Marshal duties and provide cover for Production & Logistics Coordinators as required. About You Relevant experience in chemical / manufacturing environment is essential with relevant degree or HND in a related manufacturing discipline. 3-5 years’ experience in the materials handling manufacturing industry Thoroughness for continual review, update and generation of production process documentation which is subject to review, both internally and externally. Good verbal communication - to coordinate and influence / manage change and train production operators. Accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with AutoCAD / NEBOSH as well as maintenance management software of benefit.
