If you have a passion for accounts administration or bookkeeping, and possess outstanding organisational and communication skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you Reporting to the on site Accountant you will carry out the following duties: Sales Ledger Management Handle month-end Purchase Ledger processes Oversee the full Purchase Ledger managed by the junior accounts assistant. Reconcile customer statements and prepare relevant reports. Ensure all invoices are entered within month-end timeframes Compile and submit monthly Intrastat and EC Sales reports. Prepare ROI VAT returns and RTD returns for submission. Review and reconcile monthly company credit cards prior to posting. Maintain the Workflow timing and job costing system effectively. Compile, reconcile and post monthly petty cash transactions. Profile of a Successful Candidate: Experience in Sage 50 Accounts package Minimum of 5 years experience working within finance/accountancy related position in an office environment. Excellent working knowledge of undertaking accountancy tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and a high numerical understanding.
