Agility Resourcing are very excited to be working exclusively with a growing SME business based in the Blackburn area. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to introduce a Finance Manager/Management Accountant to head up their accounts function. This is a newly created position and would suit a newly qualified accountant to join a forward-thinking business during this exciting period of growth.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
1. Overall responsibility for finance function including the management of 2 junior members of staff
2. Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentaries and financial statements
3. Preparing budgets and forecasting
4. Creating and developing business strategies with company directors and shareholders
5. WIP, BOM's and stock management
6. Maintaining financial administration and internal audit processes
7. Developing financial policies and managing process development
The ideal candidate will be:
1. A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in manufacturing
2. Experienced in ERP systems (ideally Sage 200) and Microsoft Excel
3. Confident in taking control of an accounts function
4. Have a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to work
