The University of Worcester is seeking a vigilant and professional Control Room Operator to join our Security & Operations team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for monitoring an extensive CCTV network, managing access control systems, and handling all security-related inquiries and emergencies. Your duties will include ensuring compliance with security policies, responding to incidents, maintaining detailed records, and supporting the overall safety of our campus community.
As a key member of the Security & Operations team, you will work closely with the University Community & Security Team Leader and other departments to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role. Please note that this post will require working shifts (including nights/weekends and bank holidays) and will operate across the University’s St Johns, City Centre sites, and Satellite sites over 42 hours per week. In addition, a full UK car driving licence is essential for the role.
