This National Facilities Management company is recruiting a Static / Site based Engineer to cover all planned and reactive works to the site.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company’s PPM and task schedules.
2. Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner.
3. Production of technical and situational reports as required.
4. Proactively use the technology systems given to you so that the Company can be compliant with its contractual obligations at all times.
5. Carry out the works requested in a professional and proactive manner at all times.
6. To communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clients at all times.
7. Proactively assisting the management team to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information where extra works are identified.
8. Attending team meetings/briefings as requested at all times.
9. To ensure that the Company is presented in a good light at all times.
10. Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team.
11. To escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager ASAP once noticed.
12. Ensure that all materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to the relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
This is a DAY SHIFT ONLY (12 hours) role paying a salary between £40-42k per year depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
Core Hours: 08:00 am - 18:00 pm - 5 days on/3 days off x 4 times AND 4 Days on/4 Days off x 3 times - on rotation.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you must obtain the following qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
2. Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similar.
3. C&G Parts 1, 2, equivalent or exceeds.
4. AM2 - Desirable.
5. 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training if you have 17th Edition).
6. C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing, and certification - Desirable.
