JOB PURPOSE
To prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently. To supervise, train and motivate others, with the key aim of delivering quality food to our guests to brand specification and within brand standard timings.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Guests
* Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and efficiently to brand standard.
* Deal with and resolve guest queries and complaints quickly and professionally.
* Ensure the whole team communicates and works well together to ensure the delivery of great guest service.
Our People
* Provide direction, feedback and coaching to team members on shift to improve performance and ensure the delivery of excellent food quality.
* Allocate job roles and duties for the shift.
* Complete shift buzz briefs and debriefs to agree and communicate sales and guest experience targets and results.
* Support the team by helping out others when required e.g. glass washing. Take a lead role in and contribute at team meetings.
* Complete new team member job role training and training reviews.
* Coach & develop team members.
Our Practices
* Take pride to ensure the kitchen and back of house areas, including backyard and team toilets / changing areas are clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times.
* Work with the team to ensure the department is set up and closed down to brand standard including stock rotation and prep and par processes.
* Ensure daily and weekly cleaning tasks are completed.
* Work safely with kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the manager.
* Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
* Ensure team complete all appropriate company documentation, due diligence records and key tasks on every shift.
* Keep wastage to a minimum by ensuring the team follow brand standards. Ensure wastage recording procedures are followed.
* Deal with deliveries and report any loss or damages to the duty manager.
* Maintain accurate stock control, including ordering, stock levels, delivery checks and line checks.
* Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training, online eLearning, workbooks and off job courses.
* Always adhere to all brand standards, company policies and procedures.
* Carry out management team requests and brand instructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
