About the Job We are looking for an IT Project Delivery Manager to join the second phase of a wider Global software application and integration project for a Fixed-Term-Contract of 14 Months. The Delivery Manager will manage our Vendor and internal team to deliver the implementation of third-party modules, internal system changes and integrations through the planning and tracking of short-term and long-term deliverables. The role will also be required to provide program-level reporting to executive level stakeholders, including the Steering Committee. The IT Project Delivery Manager will also assist with the preparation of future Business Cases relating to the wider program to include planning, resourcing, and costing followed by a potential RFP process and/or contract negotiations. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management: • Describe the project scope, goals/outcomes, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to the tasks. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors. Monitor and manage inter-project/program dependencies Execution and Monitoring: • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget. Monitor project performance. Perform risk management. Report into the wider project portfolio by providing succinct & clear project status Team Management: • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members consisting of a cross-functional team of professionals, such as developers, designers, and product owners. Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members and oversee their performance. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to help them develop their skills. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. Manage stakeholder expectations. Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the delivery process. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and standards, including adoption of IB methodologies, tools, standards and processes. Conduct post-project evaluations. Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization. Track project expenditures and negotiate with vendors and suppliers as needed. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for project delivery. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and project management methodologies. About You Degree (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant field and/or a Program Management certification is preferable in addition to program management experience. Successful project implementation experience with budgets of at least USD 10M/ GBP 7M. Proven experience Delivering software application projects with integration involved. Vendor-management experience with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience of negotiating and preparing project business cases and vendor contracts. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to lead and direct a project team.
