The M&T Preconstruction Engineer will be responsible for managing preconstruction activities for the Earthworks scope of the project. Your role will be vital in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. You’ll be preparing key documents, supporting estimating and governance reviews, and providing crucial input into the Target Outturn Cost (TOC) process, all while keeping a keen eye on the wider project’s progress. Key responsibilities include preparing readiness reviews, developing preconstruction deliverables, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and ensuring the safe delivery of all project activities. You will also be working closely with the finance and risk teams to ensure that budget and schedule milestones are met. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering projects in complex environments, ideally within the Nuclear or similar regulated sectors. You should have strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills, along with a solid understanding of civil engineering and delivery processes.
