About This Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will:
1. Inspire learners across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 with dynamic lessons that develop scientific thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills.
2. Deliver a curriculum that not only meets national standards but also encourages curiosity, ethical considerations in Science, and links to real-world applications.
3. Foster a supportive and inquisitive learning environment where all learners feel encouraged to question, explore, and develop a love for Science.
4. Support learners in their GCSE and A-Level studies, following AQA specifications, ensuring they achieve their full potential academically and practically.

About the Science Faculty
Science is at the core of our curriculum at St John Fisher Catholic College, encouraging learners to think critically, experiment, and develop a deeper understanding of the natural world.
1. KS3: Learners build strong foundations in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through practical investigations and theoretical learning.
2. GCSE: Following the AQA specification, learners explore key concepts in separate or combined sciences, developing analytical and experimental skills.
3. A-Level: Our AQA A-Level Science courses offer a deeper dive into scientific disciplines, preparing learners for higher education and STEM careers.
