About the Role:
GLG Vets is excited to partner with a well-established veterinary practice in Southampton to find a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet with a keen interest in ophthalmology, or a current certificate holder in the field, to further develop their expertise while delivering outstanding care to a loyal and diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality veterinary care to a wide range of animals.
* Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures.
* Provide emergency care when required, on a 1:4 weekend rotation.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Work collaboratively with a friendly and experienced team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
* Demonstrate a keen interest in ophthalmology and contribute to the development of this service within the practice.
Skills and Experience:
* Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration.
* Passionate about animal care with excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
* Keen interest or certification in ophthalmology (desirable).
* Strong communication skills and a desire to provide exceptional client care.
* Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
