To succeed in this role you will need to possess good communication skills and have a passion to deliver outstanding service to our patients. We are looking for someone who has proven computer skills, knowledge and medical terminology. Base Location: Poole Hospital Interview Date: TBC Main duties of the job Efficiently manage the electronic appointment diary and coordinate all scheduling for consultations. Provide comprehensive secretarial support, including word processing, filing, audio-typing, photocopying, and composing sensitive letters. Handle complex and varied queries from patients, clinicians, and external parties, offering excellent customer service. Be a key point of contact for patients, answering inquiries in person, via email, and over the phone. Communicate difficult, sensitive, and confidential information with professionalism and tact, especially when speaking with anxious or distressed patients and their families.
