Reporting into the Electrical Engineering Manager, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join our Components manufacturing site based in Beeston, Leeds. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot servo motor systems, including tuning and programming. Replace or repair servo motor components to ensure precise motion control. Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot 3-phase AC and DC motors and associated control systems. Perform motor installations and ensure proper wiring and connections. Work with encoders and feedback systems to ensure accurate position and speed control. Troubleshoot and replace encoders when necessary. Assemble and wire electrical panels, following wiring diagrams and schematics. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime. About You Are you an electrical engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we want you to join our Electrical Engineering Department. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to enhance production quality and efficiency. You should have a good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and experience with process monitoring systems. Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills and the ability to coach and provide feedback are also highly valued. You will be involved in diverse activities such as machinery modification and upgrades, setting up and improving machine data capture, troubleshooting processes. You will also be responsible for documenting processes and procedures and exploring new technology to improve manufacturing capability. You should have a good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and experience with process monitoring systems and project management. Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills and the ability to coach and provide feedback are also highly valued.
