JOB DESCRIPTION A multiskilled creative role to capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content that showcases the women’s team brand, players and key stakeholders. The Videographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage of women’s football games, training sessions, and team events, building rapport with the player and coaching staff to get the best content. Working closely with the marketing and content teams for promotional and marketing purposes and to achieve KPIs and revenue targets in social media impressions, engagement, ticket and retail sales. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Video production Capture high-quality video footage of all home and away matches, key moments, training sessions, interviews, women’s team events and behind-the-scenes insights. Edit raw footage into products suitable for the club’s official digital platforms (Club App, YouTube, social media, website, internal use, etc.). Develop creative concepts and storyboards for video content that showcases the women’s team, its players, management and success stories. Ensure high-quality sound in all video content, adjusting audio levels and using music to enhance the production. Ability to apply graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video quality and viewer engagement. Use the women’s team unique brand, colours, and fonts across all content to build a recognisable brand. Creativity Bring new ideas and creative approaches to video content to enhance the women’s team brand, media and fan interest. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in video production to keep content fresh, engaging and high performing. Content Management Organise and archive all video footage for easy retrieval and future use. Upload and manage video content on various platforms (app, YouTube, social media, website). Maintain and manage all video equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Collaboration Work closely with the media team, coaches, and players to capture the essence of the women’s team culture, players and activities. Seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve video quality and relevance. PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in film production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field. Experience Proven experience as a videographer, preferably in sports or a similar field. Experience working with football or sports teams is highly desirable. A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of video production skills and creativity. Knowledge and Skills Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), and familiarity with graphic design and animation tools. Extensive knowledge of professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment. Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Creativity: Ability to develop creative concepts and bring them to life through video. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Team Player: Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Personal Requirements Looking for a candidate with a blend of video production technical skills, creativity and a passion for women’s football and storytelling, who holds themselves to high standards and finesse with a desire to continually learn and push themselves and the Club’s video production forward. Terms of Appointment 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends depending on match fixtures 20 days annual leave (rising by 1 day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 statutory bank holidays).
