Main Duties
* To undertake level 2 and level 3 surveys on behalf of Cornerstone Surveyors on a wide range of properties, ranging from modern cavity masonry dwellings to historic Cotswold stone cottages. As part of your role, you will provide a bespoke service to our clients, which will include communication prior to and post-survey to ensure they receive the best advice.
* Provide bespoke and comprehensive Level 2 and Level 3 survey reports for various residential property types.
* Undertake desktop research.
* Carry out physical inspections with experience in using necessary and appropriate equipment.
* Liaise with clients before and post-survey.
Qualifications and Experience Required for This Role:
* Be a minimum of AssocRICS qualified, MRICS or FRICS.
* Post-qualification experience is essential.
* Ability to work independently, produce work of high quality and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communicator, with the ability to explain complex issues to clients in an easy-to-understand manner.
* A good understanding of building pathology and defect analysis.
* Able to confidently use an iPad and other forms of equipment/technology.
* Be of good character, honest and work with integrity.
* Full clean UK driver's licence.
* Experience in building surveying and carrying out complex level 3 surveys is essential.
Must be able to work in the Southwest, covering areas such as Bristol, Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester and the surrounding areas (consideration given for additional areas for the right candidate).
This role profile is not exhaustive; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business. The post holder will be expected to participate in this process and we would aim to reach agreement to the changes.
