Family Engagement Officer - Brackla Primary - Temporary

The Governors of Brackla Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated Family Engagement Officer to further develop strong partnership working with families.
We would like to hear from enthusiastic, energetic practitioners, experienced in direct work with parents and families.
Candidates must have an understanding of effective family engagement strategies within a primary school setting and the ability to identify and respond to the needs of parents, carers and families.
The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a dedicated team in an inclusive environment which is committed to the wellbeing of our children.
The successful candidate will:
Have a NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent;
Have experience of leading/facilitating/monitoring and evaluating initiatives for parents and families in a school/community setting;
Be enthusiastic about speaking with and engaging families and be flexible in their approach to the varying demands of this role;
Be flexible and be able to work on their own initiative;
Have a demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development;
Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
