We are a growing team of nurses, research practitioners and administrators with fantastic support from the wider research community. The team has a growing portfolio of studies that cover all specialities, focusing on early phase and experimental research.
The NIHR Oxford CRF is governed by a collaboration between the University of Oxford and OUH NHS Trust. The facility is part of a network of facilities funded by the National Institute of Health Research.
Main Duties of the Job
As a grade 6 clinical research nurse, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical care to research participants according to a defined protocol, ensuring the principles of ICHGCP guidelines are always followed. Ensuring research projects are completed successfully and within specified timelines will be critical, and the role provides a unique opportunity to communicate and assist with the project management of the team's studies.
It is essential that you are organised and able to plan work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail. You will also be an important member of the research team and as such will be involved with other ongoing/new studies.
As a facility, we look to support our staff in their continued professional development and we would be very keen to support the successful candidate with further educational opportunities while in post.
