We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at The Mayfields residential care home. As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our residents and their families, becoming an integral part of their lives.
Key Responsibilities of a Care Assistant:
1. Assist residents with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, and general tasks.
2. Provide personalised care and support to a diverse group of residents, including those with Alzheimer's, dementia, epilepsy, and sensory impairments.
3. Help residents with physical disabilities, using aids and equipment as needed.
4. Maintain confidential and accurate records in care plans.
5. Engage residents in activities like reading, writing, hobbies, and friendly conversations to promote mental and physical wellbeing.
6. Foster good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and visitors, creating a supportive environment for everyone.
