Main responsibility: To provide high quality, independent careers advice for all pupils to prepare them effectively for education, employment or training and to work with the Central Strategic Careers Lead to implement a strategy for developing a careers programme for the school that meets all eight of the Gatsby benchmarks. The ideal candidate will have: Level 4 Diploma in Advice and Guidance or equivalent and ideally a Level 6 qualification Experience of working with young people or in an advisory position Excellent communication skills Ability to deal effectively with people, using tact, courtesy and patience Good IT skills Good organisational and time management skills Cromer Academy is a community school in its truest sense: it is at the heart of the area it serves and is ambitious and determined for its young people.
