Pay: £13.75 minimum per hour (based on 6.5 hour working day).

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Longsight, South Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dedicated, compassionate, and eager to positively impact students' personal and academic development.
The Role:
* As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will:
* Work closely with students to provide 1:1 and small-group support.
* Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
* Support students in managing emotions and overcoming challenges.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents.
* Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with young people in an educational or support capacity.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A proactive and positive approach to behaviour management.
* A background in education, psychology, youth work, or a related field is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
