Our client is a leading company that is dedicated to supporting customers that are supplied into a range of industries, their product quality is recognised as second to none. Due to growth and expansion into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit team.
What type of person are we looking for?
First and foremost, we are looking for somebody who has experience in playing an active and integral role managing the machine breakdowns, PPM, service and reactive work.
We are looking for someone with a Manufacturing background who will also have a good electrical/mechanical understanding and the ability to work well under pressure; communicate effectively and have a positive and responsive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Rapid response to breakdowns
2. Carrying out autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks competently and correctly, recording work
3. Carrying out the maintenance of control and factory equipment including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pressing machinery, lifting machinery
4. Working within H&S, and Food safety standards
5. C&G or ONC in Engineering
6. Experience in high speed manufacturing or engineering environments
7. PLC Fault Finding - Siemens, Omron
8. IOSH Trained
