Role Overview:
As HR Administrator you play a key role in supporting the Head of HR and the HR team by managing the administration of core HR processes across the colleague lifecycle in the UK, alongside the administration of group HR activities such as engagement, company events, learning and development and systems implementation. You will act as the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a smooth and efficient HR service.

Key responsibilities:
* First Point of Contact for HR Queries:
o Manage the HR inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to queries from colleagues and managers.
o Escalate complex queries to relevant HR team members, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
* HR Administration:
o Provide comprehensive administrative support for the entire hire-to-retire process, including recruitment documentation, onboarding, contract management, and offboarding tasks. Maintain and update colleague records in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with GDPR and company policies.
o Assist in drafting and updating HR processes, policies, and guidance documents to streamline day-to-day HR activities
o Assist with the preparation of HR reports, for analysis on metrics such as headcount, absence, benefits and other ad-hoc data requests.
* Payroll Administration:
o Prepare and input monthly payroll data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
o Work closely with the payroll team and Finance Department to ensure timely submission and approval of payroll.
o Resolve payroll-related queries and ensure colleagues are provided with accurate information regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
* Support Group HR Activities:
o Assist with group-wide HR initiatives such as colleague engagement surveys, learning and development programs, and compliance activities.
o Provide administrative support for group-wide HR projects, including event coordination and internal communications.

* Have at least a year’s experience in a similar role where you have gained some experience with an HRIS, payroll systems and the frequently asked questions you’d come across day-to-day.

You do not need to have a formal qualification to be successful in this role, but proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and HRIS is required.
