This is a pivotal role for our exclusive client and will focus on identifying new business opportunities and growing a distribution network across Europe and further. The successful candidate will play a key part in developing and executing the commercial strategies that will enhance the business’s sales performance while leveraging prior connections across the sector. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the implementation of a regional growth strategy to achieve business objectives and increased market share and profits Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the UK and European animal safety markets Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new distributors across the region Lead and continue to grow a strong sales team with the drive to continue striving for the best Be the first point of contact for new business and long-term partnerships Collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor solutions for client needs Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to senior management Continuously grow market knowledge and identify future opportunities and prospects Key requirements Extensive technical and commercial experience in the European Animal Health, Veterinary, Animal Safety or Agricultural sectors Significant and documented commercial network across Europe with ability to utilise for business growth Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office A strong track record of hitting sales targets Comfortable working remotely with regular international travel Can be based in the UK, Ireland or mainland Europe Remuneration - may vary for candidates from European countries Base up to £92k DOE (negotiable for the right candidate) 20% bonus Company car if UK based, may differ for European candidates Pension Life insurance and private medical cover Annual leave entitlement which increases with length of service This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a world leader within the animal safety industry and offers huge potential to continue career growth for the right candidate.
