Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking an energetic and dedicated Accounts Payable Manager/Team Leader to join their dynamic team in Lichfield.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
2. Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
3. Implement and maintain best practises for accounts payable operations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including suppliers and colleagues in other departments.
5. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
6. Handle escalated queries and issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and initiatives that enhance financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a similar role, managing accounts payable processes and teams.
2. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, with strong Excel skills.
3. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
