We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled professional to join our team as a Women’s Sexual Violence and Trauma Worker (Angus Outreach). If you’re experienced in trauma-informed support and want to be part of a values-driven organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in providing support to people using trauma-informed support skills and have a sound knowledge of the impact of rape, sexual abuse, and exploitation on survivors.

The Women’s Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (WRASAC), Dundee and Angus, has been supporting survivors of rape, sexual abuse, and exploitation and raising awareness about the damaging effects of sexual violence since 1984. We are a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.
The Team Leader will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, trauma-informed operation of WRASAC’s support services. This includes overseeing the Women’s Support Services, Initial Referral Team, and DAYS Service. They will support the CEO and Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the violence against women sector and have demonstrable experience of at least 2 years managing and supervising staff and volunteers.
They will have a collaborative leadership style, excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and an understanding and commitment to a feminist analysis of gender-based violence.
Fife Women’s Aid is looking to recruit a part-time member of staff to provide advice, advocacy, support, and services to children, young people, and families who have experienced domestic abuse. Applicants should have experience of providing support in a relevant social care setting.
The successful applicants will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in childcare or other relevant subject, or equivalent experience and willingness to work towards a qualification.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of motivation and have the ability to work as part of a team as well as flexible hours to suit the needs of families. An ability to cover on-call is an advantage (additional payments are made for this role).
