Our Team: Madeline McKenna is a residential care home in Widnes. The home is a 23 bedded care home with staff on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Night shift workers include 1 senior care assistant and 1 care assistant. Our care and support work shift pattern is a rolling 3 week rota which will include weekend shifts. Night worker shift commences at 10pm, and finish at 8am. Enhancements are paid for unsociable hours. We are looking for a hard-working, compassionate individual who has the ability to confidently maintain safety of the building during the night. We require a good team member who can develop and maintain effective working relationships; this will include relationships with service users, staff members and external professional you will be liaising with. Confidence with medication administration is desired as this will be part of your regular responsibilities. Successful candidate must have NVQ in Health and Social Care.
