Working Hours: Full-time (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant secondary school in Streatham. This role involves providing classroom assistance across various subjects, working with students aged 11–16, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the absence of regular staff.
Responsibilities:
* Provide general classroom support to teachers and students.
* Assist with behaviour management and student engagement.
* Work with small groups or 1:1 with students who need additional support.
* Cover short-term absences of teaching staff under the guidance of senior staff.
* Help with administrative tasks, resource preparation, and classroom organisation.
Minimum Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a school (secondary experience preferred).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects/year groups.
* A proactive attitude and ability to manage classroom dynamics.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
