We are looking for: Distribution Inbound Shift Leader - Boston Metsä Wood UK Reporting to the Distribution Shift Manager, you will liaise with the wider business functions to support the delivery of site KPI’s. What do you get to do? Ensure all inbound loads arrive in accordance with the booking register. To ensure safe working practices are maintained or improved across all operations. Responsible for allocating resource to ensure that all inbound loads are unloaded in a timely manner. Provide supervision and direction to the nine-strong inbound goods team, assisting with HR processes where necessary. Maintain a healthy and transparent relationship with HR, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance teams. Work closely with colleagues from the wider Metsä Wood team to support the delivery of the annual plan and long term strategy. Identify and develop the capability of your team to meet current and future needs and to deliver a programme of continual career development for team members. Be responsible for the delivery of a continuous improvement culture in the team using lean six sigma methodology.
