Lead QA Engineer (Automation / Selenium) Salary: 100,000 - 100,000 GBP per year

Requirements:
We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer with the following qualifications:
1. 8 years of automation testing experience, with recent focus on Selenium.
2. 4 years of experience integrating automated testing with DevOps tools such as Bamboo/Jenkins and Git/Bitbucket.
3. 4 years of experience in visual/UI testing and Rest Assured/Open API testing.
4. Familiarity with event-driven services, message queues, and event brokers (e.g., Kafka).
5. Proficiency in performance testing tools, including JMeter, K6, Neoload, LoadRunner.
6. Skilled in writing SQL/NoSQL queries for data verification.
7. In-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and database testing with SQL.
8. Solid understanding of BDD concepts and testing.
9. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Your responsibilities are:
As our Lead QA Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading a Testing Engineer role on an agile squad while mentoring other engineers.
2. Developing sophisticated and reusable automation frameworks using Selenium.
3. Integrating test case execution and reporting within the CI/CD pipeline.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine testing strategies.
5. Implementing BDD practices to enhance test automation.
6. Automating tests early in conjunction with the efforts of other engineers.

1. Experience with Python coding for testing and familiarity with Python frameworks such as Pandas, Numpy, and Requests.
2. Exposure to code quality metrics and shift-left principles.
3. Experience in testing container resiliency with Docker/Kubernetes.
4. Background in designing large end-to-end performance scenarios.
5. Experience in adding performance validation to CI pipelines.
6. Familiarity with the financial industry domain and data platforms.
