This role is responsible for our transformation brand High Tales, overall transformation learnings, optimisation of our approach to innovation in line with our new brand building framework and opportunities to innovate across our portfolio. The role will lead the thinking on how we manage the next steps of the High Tales brand alongside how we approach innovation moving forward as a business.
Our approach to innovation will be aligned with the strategic ambition, and the purpose of Pouring happiness into lives, and deliver against the customer ambition of Serving more customers and delighting them every time.

Job Description
This role is Hybrid and can be based in either our Burton or London office.
Your role as Brand Innovation Lead
* Development and delivery of the optimisation of HighTales, our transformation brand, to drive its readiness for scale.
* A clear view on how we approach future brand transformations from asset selection through to piloting to ensure all brands benefit from learnings to date and a consistent approach to delivery and success.
* Optimisation of ‘The Innovation Way’, our approach to transforming brand, based on these learnings.
* Development of a clear process that takes our transformation brands from pilot through to scale. The process and metrics we use for identifying what success looks like and how we transition from brand teams to divisional ownership.
* Evolution of ‘The Innovation Way’ to capture a broader remit of innovation: From transformation of brand through to innovating the offer.
* This includes the framework, tools, templates and culture we need to drive success as well as how it is embedded across the business.
* Identification of areas we need to innovate across the portfolio with a clear plan for delivery and ownership.
* Leadership of innovation projects for the portfolio such as “How do we drive more reasons to visits through compelling events and experiences?” from exploration of the opportunity through to brand recommendations for execution.
What you’ll bring…
* Experience in Innovation, ideally front-end Innovation.
* Experience in Innovation Processes. Ideally experience in developing/optimising innovation processes within an organisation.
* Experience in Brand Strategy.
* People management skills - engages and effectively leads a high performing team and has a style of operation that delivers excellent results through people.
* Excellent influencing skills coupled with the ability to impact across a variety of stakeholders.
* An excellent understanding of insight and data to identify opportunities for innovation, create consumer led innovation and commercially measure its success.
