Job Description
One of the UK's largest dedicated property law groups, the team combines deep sector expertise with a commercial approach to deliver clear, practical advice. Supporting a diverse client base - landowners, developers, funders, and investors, the team provides specialist legal guidance across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Specializing in end-to-end legal support, the team advises on projects ranging from offshore wind farms to EV charging infrastructure, ensuring clients receive timely and strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Property Transactions & Advisory: Advise on land acquisition, leases, wayleaves, easements, and project structuring for energy and infrastructure developments.
2. Project Support & Risk Management: Collaborate with developers, investors, and public authorities to ensure compliance with property law and mitigate risks.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and industry bodies.
4. Business Development & Market Growth: Contribute to tenders, proposals, and marketing initiatives to expand the firm's energy and infrastructure practice.
5. Collaboration & Leadership: Work cross-functionally with planning, corporate, and environmental teams while mentoring junior lawyers and sharing industry knowledge.
Requirements:
1. Qualified lawyer in England & Wales with proven experience in energy and/or major infrastructure property work.
2. Strong academic background with excellent technical and commercial awareness.
3. Proactive team player with a strong client-first mindset.
4. Demonstrated ability in business development and relationship management.
