Working within the Children and Families Service in Children’s Social Care, the successful applicant will join our residential services to meet the needs of children and young people who are in the care of the Local Authority and who may have experienced abuse and trauma. We follow a trauma informed, low arousal model of support to enable transformation of children’s lived experiences.

The Role:
As the Deputy Manager of this Service, you will support the multi-disciplinary management team of committed professionals to achieve positive outcomes for the children who receive support from the home. You will have skills in leadership, communication, and experience of working with children with complex needs who may engage in behaviours of concern and/or who are trauma experienced.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
